Review your bills!!

So 2 times a year typically hubby and I review our bills and see where we can save.. today is the day we are looking at ways to lower or save.

Quest #1 Gas bill... see if yours offers a "fixed" therm.. if you are like us our Gas bill's high in the winter... see if yours offers a Fixed therm we got on ours locked in for a year for $.599 cents/therm .. saving us atleast .20cents off each therm for a year and you wont have to pay the daily rate in the middle of the winter when the rate is highest!

Quest #2 Car insurance ... we finally paid off our 2nd car and hubby lowered us to liability only, (yes we know the risks) We literally saved 1/2 off our monthly car insurance bill! about $70!

Quest #3 Phone/Internet bill  Our "promotion" is ending this month so I attempted to see what new promotion at&t offers us, of course they were doing system upgrades after being on hold for 30 minutes was told this... if not we will switch back to Comcast and that will save us $30.00 atleast....  Why do you have to pay $20.00 in taxes?!  The Comcast plan has a few less things like no DVR (booo!).. (we don't want to pay $17 a month for it..)

We have a few other areas we can save as well, so I give you ladies the challenge, see how much more you can save just by picking up the phone! just by calling they could "review" your promotions and see if you can save and you may not have to switch companies at all! Best advise, do some homework first, and know what the competitors are offering you could save money with out even having to sacrifice anything!  I'm sure you can save!

Phone bill?  Not using text going over your minutes?  Get you account reviewed, stop wasting money!

Another way to look at all this is see what you haven't been using... me?... my Gym membership, yeah sad... I really need to go, so since it has been taken out this month I have been thinking about wether i really need it at all, besides if we go back to comcast they have a great fitTV channel! ... I wonder if they have Zumba!.. anyone know?! :)   With the hubby and I both, that's another $40! a month!   All this money really adds up, especially if you are living off one income!  :)

Happy Savings!
